1. Shipping
Urban Magpie works with a print-on-demand provider (Printful) to produce and ship items. Each product is made especially for you as soon as you place your order.
1.1 Shipping costs
Flat-rate shipping within Europe
- €4.95 for orders within Europe.
- Free shipping for orders over €80.
This flat rate is set by Urban Magpie. Printful charges us its own internal rates depending on product and destination, but your final checkout price remains clear and predictable.
1.2 Production time
Production (printing and preparation) usually takes between 2 and 5 business days, depending on the product type and workload.
1.3 Shipping time
Delivery times depend on destination country and the carrier used by Printful. Typical timelines:
- Within Europe: usually 3–7 business days after production.
These delivery times are estimates. During holidays, sales, or carrier disruptions, deliveries may take longer.
1.4 Shipping destinations
We ship mainly within Europe and to other regions supported by Printful. If your destination is not available at checkout, unfortunately we cannot ship there at the moment.
1.5 Tracking
When your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking link (if available). Not all routes provide full tracking.
1.6 Customs & import taxes
For shipments outside your customs area, local duties or taxes may apply. These charges are determined by your customs authority and are the customer’s responsibility.
2. Returns & Exchanges
We want you to be happy with your purchase. In addition to your legal rights, Urban Magpie voluntarily offers a special change-of-mind return service. If you change your mind or the product is not what you expected, you can return most apparel items for a full refund of the product price (shipping costs are not refunded) within 30 calendar days from the day you receive your order.
Summary of our change-of-mind returns policy
- Return window: 30 calendar days from delivery.
- Items must be unused, unwashed, and in resellable condition, with tags/labels (if any) attached.
- Once received and approved, we refund the product price via the original payment method.
- Original shipping costs are not refunded unless we made a mistake or the item is defective.
- If the item is not faulty and not incorrect, the customer pays return shipping.
This 30-day change-of-mind return window is a voluntary courtesy service by Urban Magpie and is in addition to your statutory consumer rights.
To request a return, email us at info@urbanmagpie.net within 30 days of delivery. We will confirm the return address and instructions. Please do not send items without our prior confirmation.
2.1 Defective, damaged, or incorrect items
If your order arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 30 days of delivery at: info@urbanmagpie.net
Please include:
- Your order number.
- A brief description of the issue.
- Clear photos of the product and the defect.
We will review your case with Printful and, if applicable, arrange a replacement or refund. In most cases you will not need to return the defective item, but we will let you know if a return is required.
2.2 Lost shipments
If your order does not arrive and tracking does not update for a prolonged period, contact us within 30 days after the estimated delivery date. If the shipment is confirmed lost, we will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
2.3 Size or fit issues
All product pages include size guides. Please review them before ordering. If you still receive a size that doesn’t fit, you may use our 30-day return policy, provided the item is unused, unwashed, and resellable.
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. Once your return is approved and refunded, you may place a new order in the size or colour that suits you best. Return and re-shipping costs are paid by the customer unless the item is defective.
2.4 Consumer rights (EU)
Many items are produced on demand, and the statutory right of withdrawal may have exceptions under EU law (for example, personalised products). Even so, Urban Magpie voluntarily offers the 30-day return policy described above for unused items as part of our customer care commitment.
This voluntary policy is in addition to your legal rights and does not replace them, especially regarding defective goods.
3. Returned packages & incorrect addresses
The return address shown on the parcel may be Printful’s logistics centre (not our private home address). If a package cannot be delivered and is automatically returned to sender, it will go back to that centre. This is separate from voluntary returns you arrange with us directly.
3.1 Incorrect or incomplete address
If the address is considered insufficient (for example, missing house number or incorrect postcode), the shipment may be returned to Printful’s facility. In that case:
- We will be notified when the package arrives back at the facility.
- We can reship it to a corrected address.
- Reshipping costs are not covered by Printful, so they must be paid by the customer or Urban Magpie, depending on the circumstances.
3.2 Unclaimed packages
If the customer does not collect the parcel and it is returned to sender, it will also arrive at Printful’s facility. We will be notified by email.
If you still want to receive the order, we can arrange reshipping (additional shipping costs apply). If no action is taken for some time, Printful may donate or dispose of the package and no automatic refund is issued.

5. Right of withdrawal (EU)
You have the right to cancel an order without giving any reason. This right is the statutory right of withdrawal as established by Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws.
To cancel an order, you may use the withdrawal form below (model withdrawal form) or notify us by email at info@urbanmagpie.net or by post to: C/ Hermosilla, 48 1 derecha, CP 28001 Madrid (Spain).
Please include your order details when contacting us about a cancellation so we can identify it.
Under applicable rules, the withdrawal period will expire 14 calendar days from the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquire physical possession of the goods. If the order consists of multiple separate deliveries, the period expires 14 calendar days from the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier), acquire physical possession of the last delivery. However, for URBAN MAGPIE customer satisfaction is essential and we voluntarily extend this period to 30 calendar days.
Once the right of withdrawal has been exercised, you must send the goods to the address indicated in this document and you must bear the return costs. Please note that if you decide to return the items with carriage due, we will be authorised to charge you the costs we may incur.
The right of withdrawal applies only to products returned in the same condition in which they were received. No refund will be issued if the product has been used, damaged, or not in the same condition as delivered. Please handle products with care while in your possession. Return all items including original packaging and all labels. Please do not remove labels until you are sure you want to keep the product.
After examining the returned item(s), we will inform you whether you are entitled to a refund. If the return includes the full purchase, the correct procedure has been followed, and the products are new and unused, we will refund the total purchase price plus the shipping costs within 14 days from receiving the returned goods.
If the return includes only part of the order, the correct procedure has been followed, and the products are new and unused, we will refund the value of the returned products, excluding shipping costs.

Do you offer express shipping?
We currently offer standard shipping (typically 3–7 business days in Europe). This helps keep costs reasonable. If you need a fast delivery for a special occasion, contact us before ordering and we’ll check what options may be available.
How long will my order take?
Each item is printed on demand just for you. Production usually takes 2–5 business days. After that, shipping within Europe typically takes 3–7 business days. You’ll receive a tracking link as soon as your order ships.
Can I return or exchange an item?
Yes. You can return most apparel items within 30 calendar days from delivery, provided they are unused, unwashed, and resellable. We refund the product price once the return is received and approved (shipping is not refunded for change-of-mind returns). We do not offer direct exchanges: after the refund, you can place a new order with the size or colour you prefer.
Where do you ship from?
Products are shipped from Printful’s facilities in the European Union (mainly Latvia and Spain). This helps reduce shipping times and avoid customs fees within the EU.
Are there customs fees?
Orders shipped within the EU typically do not incur customs charges. For shipments outside your customs area, duties or taxes may apply as determined by your local authorities.
