1. Shipping

Urban Magpie works with a print-on-demand partner (Printful) to create and ship your items. Every piece is produced especially for you once you place an order.

1.1 Shipping costs

Flat-rate shipping within Europe

The flat rate is set by Urban Magpie. Printful charges us their own shipping fee in the background based on the products and destination, but your price at checkout stays simple and predictable.

1.2 Production time

Production (printing and preparation) usually takes between 2 and 5 business days, depending on the product type and current workload.

Shipping times depend on your destination country and the carrier used by Printful. Typical timelines:

These are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. During holidays, sales, or carrier disruptions, orders can take a bit longer.

1.4 Shipping locations

We primarily ship to countries in Europe and other regions supported by Printful. If your destination is not available at checkout, unfortunately we cannot ship there at the moment.

1.5 Tracking

As soon as your order ships, you’ll receive an email with a tracking link where available. Tracking is provided by the carrier; not all routes and product types support full tracking.

1.6 Customs & import fees

For orders shipped outside your home customs area, local customs or import fees may apply. These charges are determined by your local authorities and are your responsibility as the customer.


2. Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be happy with your order. If you change your mind or the item simply isn’t right for you, you can return most apparel items for a full refund of the product price within 14 days of delivery.

Summary of our returns policy for unwanted items

To arrange a return, please email us at urban.magpie.ai@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery. We’ll confirm your eligibility and provide the return address and instructions. Please do not send any items back before you receive our confirmation.

2.1 Defective, damaged, or incorrect items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order at: urban.magpie.ai@gmail.com

We will review the issue with our production partner and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund. For confirmed quality issues or fulfillment errors, the item is usually reprinted and reshipped at no extra cost to you. In most cases you will not need to send the faulty item back, but we will let you know if a return is required.

2.2 Lost shipments

If your order hasn’t arrived and the tracking hasn’t updated for a long time, please contact us no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. We’ll investigate with Printful and the carrier. Once a package is confirmed as lost, a free replacement or refund will usually be arranged.

2.3 Size & fit issues

We provide size charts and product information on each product page. Please check these carefully before ordering. If you still end up with the wrong size, you can use our 14-day returns policy as long as the item is unworn, unwashed, and in resellable condition.

We do not currently offer direct exchanges. Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll refund the product price and you can place a new order in the size that works best for you. Return and new shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty.

2.4 EU consumer rights

Many of our products are made to order. Under EU law, the usual right of withdrawal may not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. Even so, Urban Magpie voluntarily offers the 14-day return option for unused items described above, to keep things simple and fair.

This voluntary policy is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights in relation to defective products.


3. Returned packages & wrong address

The return address printed on your parcel may be the relevant Printful facility (not our home address). If a package can’t be delivered and is automatically returned to sender, it goes back to that facility. This is separate from the voluntary returns you arrange with us directly.

3.1 Wrong or incomplete address

If the courier deems the address insufficient (for example missing house number or incorrect postcode), the shipment may be returned to Printful’s facility. In that case:

3.2 Unclaimed shipments

If a parcel isn’t picked up in time and is returned to sender, it will also arrive back at the Printful facility. We’ll be notified by email.

If you still want the order, we can arrange a reshipment (reshipping costs apply). If no action is taken for a period of time, unclaimed returns may be donated or disposed of by Printful and no automatic refund is issued.

Do you offer express shipping?

At the moment we use a reliable standard shipping service (usually 3–7 business days in Europe). This keeps things simple and affordable for everyone. If you need express delivery for a special occasion, feel free to contact us before ordering — we’re always happy to check options.

How long will my order take?

Each item is printed on demand just for you. Production usually takes 2–5 business days. After that, delivery within Europe normally takes 3–7 business days. You’ll receive a tracking link as soon as your order ships.

Can I return or exchange an item?

Yes. You can return most apparel items within 14 days of delivery as long as they are unworn, unwashed, and in resellable condition. We refund the product price once we receive and approve the return. We don’t currently offer direct exchanges, so if you need a different size or colour, you can place a new order after your refund is processed.

Where do you ship from?

All apparel is produced and shipped from Printful’s EU facilities (Latvia and Spain). This helps keep shipping times short and avoid customs fees within the European Union.

Do customs fees apply?

Orders shipped within the EU do not incur customs charges. Orders outside your local customs area may be subject to duties or taxes set by your local authorities.
